Mustard beer corned beef in a slowcooker


  • 3 bottles of your most famous beer (I'd recommend a Pilsner like becks or heinecken)
  • 5 onions
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 1 glass of mustard (dijon)
  • 1.5 kg corned beef
  • Salt
  • Sugar

Cut the meat into slices. Put the mustard, beer and crushed garlic together with salt and sugar in a bowl. Put a thin layer of oil in your slow cooker. Now put a layer of onions as the basement on the bottom of the pot. Add 2 to 3 pieces of meat and pour the mustard mix on top. Now add another layer of onions and meat pour the sauce and so on.... until all the meat is gone and everything is nicely covered in mustard, beer and garlic.

Turn on the cooker on high and wait for 6 hours.
